Sparki Docs

Data Retention & Privacy

Understand customer deletion requests, automatic cleanup, and what your office should archive outside Sparki.

Privacy

Sparki keeps operational customer data temporary by default.

Use this page to understand what is cleaned up automatically, what customers can request, and what your office should export before data leaves Sparki.

What Customers Can Request

Customers can open their customer portal settings to update their own personal details or request deletion of their customer account and personal data. A deletion request appears as a customer request in the dashboard so your team can review it and handle any legal or operational exceptions before processing.

Automatic Cleanup Windows

Customer data

Customer records are scheduled for anonymization after 24 months by default.

Uploaded documents

Customer-uploaded documents are scheduled for deletion after 180 days.

Closed projects

Closed, cancelled, or completed projects are scheduled for cleanup after 180 days.

Existing data

Older data that first becomes eligible receives a 30-day grace window before cleanup.

If your office must keep a file for legal, mortgage, rental, tax, or seller-reporting reasons, export or download it into your own secured archive before the retention window ends.
