Account Settings

Manage your personal dashboard account, session, and account-level requests.

Account

Account settings are personal; portal settings are shared.

Use account settings for your own profile and session. Use portal settings, members, and billing pages for office-wide configuration.

What Belongs Here

Open Account settings from the dashboard sidebar when you need to check your own profile, sign out, or manage account-level requests. These settings follow the signed-in member, not a specific portal project.

Your profile

Keep your personal details recognizable for teammates and customer follow-up work.

Session controls

Use logout when leaving a shared device or when testing customer and admin flows side by side.

Privacy requests

Account-level data and deletion requests should be handled carefully and separately from normal portal content edits.

What Does Not Belong Here

Do not use account settings for shared portal decisions. These live in other dashboard areas:

  1. Portal settings controls logo, title, notification email, language, appointment rules, and customer-facing URLs.
  2. Members controls who can access the portal and which roles they have.
  3. Billing & Invoices controls plan and billing details.
  4. Design controls customer-facing portal styling.
  5. Add-ons controls integrations such as CRM, calendar, AI, payment, or communication add-ons.

Admin and Member Notes

Members can manage their own account, but only admins should change portal-level access, billing, and integration settings. When a member lacks a role, Sparki should keep expected actions visible but disabled where that is safe, so the member understands which admin permission is missing.

Customer Account Settings

Customers also have a Settings area in the customer portal. That page is separate from dashboard account settings: customers use it to update their own personal details or request deletion of their customer account.

If a customer asks where to change their details, send them to the customer portal sign-in page. If the request needs office review, open the customer timeline from Inbox and Customer Timeline and process it from the dashboard.

For retention windows, customer deletion requests, and what your office should archive outside Sparki, see Data Retention & Privacy.
